Crew Leader / Foreman:

Land Co Environments, Inc. is looking for an experienced landscape work who is an independent worker with 1 - 3 years experience. This individual will be responsible for managing time, materials, and site safety in the field, as well as ensuring all jobs are completed to Land Co Environment Standards.  This position will report to and coordinate projects with our Project Manager.


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to be successful in this role, but are not necessarily all inclusive:


Good verbal and written communication skills 

Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions 

Ability to work in a variety of roles and with a variety of personalities  Works well as part of a team  

Familiar with sub-base and base preparation/compaction  

Experience with equipment use such as backhoes, mini excavators, cut off saws, etc. 

Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing and walking  

Must be able to lift and move up to 80lbs regularly  

Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with work sites

Responsibilities:  

You will be expected to be skilled in a variety of landscape installations including, but not limited to, all types of hardscapes, patios, stone walls, retaining walls, wet laid and dry laid stone, fireplaces, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, stone veneer, water features, paver and travertine pool decks, walkways, driveways, etc  

Additionally, you’ll display a proven ability to work with others to maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team 

Measure work areas and do the leveling before start of projects  

Ensure productivity with the laborers

Use skills to develop the team for growth opportunities
